Whilst no one likes to think about death, it is one of two certainties in life (the other is taxation – so said Benjamin Franklin in 1789 and nothing has changed!)
A Will is probably one of the most important documents you will ever need however some 67% of the population have not made one.
Often the reason for this is simply that they have not had time to do so, cannot see the benefit or think it will be too difficult.
Making your Will need not be complicated. In fact it is better to keep it simple.
Things to think about:
Who do you want to benefit from your property, money and possessions after your death?
Who do you wish to look after your children if they are under 18?
Who do you wish to sort out your estate and carry out your wishes after your death?
If you do not make a Will the law decides who inherits:
Probably not as you would wish!
